Measure your longest firearm with the optic mounted, add two inches, and compare: the 42" fits carbines and most two-gun setups; the 50" fits full-length hunting rifles, shotguns, and long scoped rifles. When in doubt, size up.

Q: Is it really TSA-compliant for flying with firearms?

Yes — it's hard-sided and lockable at two points, which meets TSA requirements for checked firearms. Owners report checking it on major airlines repeatedly with no issues. Use the airline's declaration process, and use locks with a slightly longer shackle — TSA cable locks fit perfectly.

Q: How many guns does it hold?
