"It holds everything you need on the field. I bought this specifically for the pistol holster, didn't want to buy another. Your sides aren't covered much and if you're hit there then you're definitely gonna feel it. It's not heavily padded or anything but that's what the pockets are for. Load it up with your gear and if you're hit in the chest you'll know it but won't feel the sting. If you take a hit in the back or the sides, it really just depends on the distance. Greater starter vest for airsoft. Only complaint i can think of is adjusting the size when you get it can be a little difficult, and the pistol holster saggs forward a little even after being tightened as much as it'll go, and that's with a pistol that isn't very heavy."
