Is the embroidery raised or just printed on?

It's fully raised 3D embroidery — the "We The People" Old English script and "Have Had Enough" text are both machine-stitched with cream thread that sits up off the fabric. You can feel the texture with your finger. Printed graphics crack and fade after a few washes. This embroidery won't. The 1776 side patch is woven separately and sewn on — also not printed.

2. What does the hat actually look like in person? The photos seem too good.

The reviews say it looks better in person — specifically the two-tone contrast between the navy crown and burgundy bill, and the way the 1776 patch catches sunlight. The washed distressed texture is real and visible. The "We the People" script stitched along the bill edge is a detail most people don't notice in photos until they're holding it.

3. What head sizes does this fit?

Both. The adjustable cant system lets you dial in your carry angle for appendix (AIWB), strong-side 3 o'clock, 4 o'clock behind the hip, or cross-draw. Loosen the clip screw with a standard Phillips screwdriver, set your angle, retighten. Takes 60 seconds. Most carriers find their preferred position in the first two days and never touch it again.
