Are these electronic? Do they need batteries?

No — and that's the point. They're 100% passive: a deep foam seal does all the blocking. Nothing to charge, pair, update or replace. They work the day you buy them and the same way in year three.

Will they seal over my glasses?

Yes — the plush cushions are deep enough to close around most glasses arms and sunglasses. Buyers wear them with a ball cap AND safety glasses at the same time. Thick sport goggle straps are the one thing that can break any muff's seal.

They feel tight out of the box — is that normal?
