Does it stay on a sleeping pad?

The pillow features a detachable elastic strap designed to keep it securely in place on the sleeping pad. While this strap helps minimize shifting, it does not permanently anchor the pillow to every type of sleeping pad.

Can I wash the cover?

Removable cover can be washed for easier care. A verified buyer said the cover washed well after a Scout trip when air-dried. Avoid high dryer heat around the bladder and seals.

Is it comfortable enough to replace my home pillow?

5 inches is the listed maximum thickness. That gives adjustable camp, travel, knee, or lumbar support. Inflate fully when you need more stable head support.

How small does it pack down?
