"Even with my lifelong experience driving in flood situations, I feel safer having one of these on hand... It is small but sturdy. The only complaint I have is that the instructions are minimal and in such tiny print they're pretty much useless — and the tool is kind of hard to get out of the holder at first. So practice removing it."

As seen on

the doors are electric. the windows are electric. you're not.

Modern cars are sealed by electricity — and in a crash, a fire, or three feet of flood water, electricity is the first thing to die. The window switches go dark. The e-locks freeze. A jammed seatbelt doesn't care how hard you pull.

Tempered side glass is built to survive impact — you cannot punch it, elbow it, or kick it out. But the right steel point in the right corner opens it in seconds. That's the whole tool. That's the whole reason.

two jobs. three seconds each.

Job one: the window. The hardened point concentrates your whole swing into a single millimeter — tempered glass gives up instantly and crumbles into harmless rounded beads. No strength required; physics does the work.
Job two: the belt. Hook the recessed cutter over the webbing and pull — the hidden blade slices through in one stroke, and can't cut you while it waits in the door pocket.

where the $5 keychain gadgets lose you

You've seen the tiny capsule ones. Cute, until you need them: a stubby tip with no swing weight behind it, a housing that cracks in a hot glovebox, and nothing to mount them with — so they migrate to the bottom of a bag exactly when seconds count.

The Lifeline is a full-size hammer with real swing weight, a steel point, and a bracket that keeps it exactly where your hand expects it. The difference costs a few dollars. It's not the place to save them.

Built For The Cars Your People Actually Drive

🔋 The New EV
Flush handles, e-locks, windows with no crank — when the 12-volt dies, they all die with it. One mechanical tool in the console answers a very modern problem with very old physics.

"We bought one for our Tesla because of the e-locks, and it's a nice peace of mind knowing we can get out if we ever need to." — Frank F., verified buyer

🌧️ The Storm You Didn't Plan For
Flash floods put ordinary drivers into water they never saw coming — and water pressure holds doors shut better than any lock. The window is the way out.

"After getting stuck in high water during a storm the other night, I needed this tool." — Dana W., verified buyer

👧 The Car That Carries Your Kids
The school run. Practice. Grandma's house. The car with the booster seat in it is the car this belongs in first — mounted where the driver can reach it, taught to everyone old enough to listen.

Everyone Loves This product

"While I am hoping to never have to use these, it gives me comfort knowing I have them in my vehicles. I did test the window hammer out on a window of a junkyard car and it worked as described."

- Eli Caradine

"It feels sturdy, is easy to keep in the car, and gives real peace of mind. The window breaker is solid and the seatbelt cutter is sharp and safe to store. Hopefully I never need it, but I'm glad it's there."

- Henry James

"Great quality with a good holder. Best to keep one on each door in the front of the car. One big suggestion: take a second to understand how you remove the hammer from the mount — the key is to lift the top of the hammer up or out, and it easily comes out."

- Sammy Williams

FAQs

Payment method

- We accept payment via Paypal, Credit card, Debit card. If you want to pay via wire transfers (Bank transfer) or Bitcoin, simply email us at support@dinosaurized.com.

Will it break the windshield?

No — windshields are laminated glass and are NOT the way out. The Lifeline is built for tempered side windows, which shatter into harmless beads. That's the honest physics, and it's the same for every escape tool ever made.

Does it take strength?

Very little. The point concentrates your swing into a single millimeter — the glass does the failing, not your arm. Aim for a corner of the window where the glass is weakest.

Where should I mount it?

Door panel or console — anywhere you can reach while belted in. NOT the glovebox: if you have to dig for it, you don't have it. And practice pulling it from the bracket once, the day it arrives.
