If you need accuracy from the clinometer you may want to look at another product - the pendulum on mine sticks, requiring a tap or two to dislodge it. I never have need for a clinometer so it's not an issue for me. At first the bezel was really hard to move but it loosened up well enough after working it a bit. There is a focus knob (?) on the eyepiece that seems to do nothing but I have no problem reading the bearing. Other than that, everything is where it needs to be and works as it should. The instructions are quite entertaining."
