"I've been using this safe for about 3 weeks with no problem what so ever. Simple setup with the key pad but had some trouble with the key fob per the instructions. It states to press the program button for 2 seconds but that didn't work for me. The solution was to press the program slot for less then 1 second and then continue with the setup.Also got the idea to mount the safe on a wall over a doorway per another post with a gun magnet on the inside. Unfortunately between the gun magnet and the size of my Steyr .40 I'm unable to use the foam padding that's supplied, but in my case it's not needed.Also put the key fob under a can of glade spray and since the safe is mounted on a wall over a doorway in the bathroom, which would not be used by quests or visiting family members, it's appropriate for the can to be there.Will update if there are any problems with the operation of this safe in the future, but right now it works for me."

"For anyone who might want to do something similar, this fit great inside the large center console of my 2019 Yukon. I just had to widen one of the two mounting holes to use an existing bolt that happened to line up with where I wanted it, then used a screw in the other mounting hole to secure it to the plastic.
